Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her most well-known role was that of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in the Preparatory School she attended before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the theatre in the Chicago area for a few years prior to trying her luck in TV as well as film roles. Anna's debut part was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. After appearing as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue during the 90's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully in addition to Deadwood was another movie she appeared in. Gunn appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual demise mirror the last few decades of Walter White.
